Personality
+ PROFICIENT. Dawnfrost is highly skilled, scarily so, in her art. She might be fairly young still, but she's got a sharp mind and knew from a young age that she wasn't meant for life as a warrior. She's obsessive about the craft, and learning something new is about the only thing she'll get outwardly excited about.
+ DEPENDABLE. While she might complain, loudly, about having to treat other cats due to their own stupidity, Dawnfrost is always easy to find and gets the job done. And even if it irks her, she follows the edict that she must help any cat in need. + PERCEPTIVE. While she doesn't particularly enjoy the company of most, Dawnfrost is highly attuned to the thoughts of others. She knows the workings of most minds better than she probably should - at least, complex minds like her own. Sometimes the most straightforward mind is the one she'll misread. + ORGANIZED. Dawnfrost's den is full of dried herbs, berries, leaves, and flowers - all meticulously placed and stored. A disruption of her orderly home tends to lead to yelling and things being thrown. + HARD-WORKING. It's rare that Dawnfrost is idle, at any time. If she's not treating a clan cat, she's out gathering ingredients. She's often seen on the grounds of other clans, covered in dirt from digging. - SADISTIC. Dawnfrost doesn't actually go looking to inflict pain, and can't really anyway since she's not a warrior. She also doesn't (generally) actually inflict pain without reason. However, if a certain procedure happens to be painful? Well, if she enjoys it a bit too much, who's to hold it against her. - COLD. She is not, by any stretch of the word, friendly. If she had the option she'd spend the rest of her days in complete solitude. However, she knows she's not built for a rogue's life, so instead she just lives her life showing obvious disdain for those around her. She's icy, and vicious, when she's pushed too far. - CALCULATING. Dawnfrost is often irritable but rarely angry. When she is angry, though, she is ready and willing to tear someone apart piece by piece. Verbally. She knows the gossip, she can read a person, and she can be brutal in her delivery of that knowledge. Perhaps she might care at some point, but in the moment she'll flay them without hesitation. - BLUNT. Not that it's surprising, but Dawnfrost often speaks her mind regardless of the political or social situation. She's got her times where it's better for her to put on a nice facade to meet her ends, which she will do flawlessly, but she hates it. And then she's just in a horrible mood after, which nobody wants. - SCARED. Mentally, at least. Perhaps all of her outward venom is simply a fear of being weak, but it doesn't really make a difference. She does not love, she hardly even likes. She does not care. Perhaps, in another life, she'd be capable. But as a medicine cat, it's better that she simply lives as she is comfortable. Even if it makes everyone else run, she's learned to love that, at least. History
- Born to Lichenfur and Quilldrop- Showed much more of an affinity to herbs than fighting or hunting early on, was quickly promoted to Dawnpaw under the former Medicine Cat. - The Medicine Cat was elderly, and passed her mantle on to Dawnpaw when she was eighteen moons old. She was named Dawnfrost. - Dawnfrost did her job well, despite her disposition. When the greencough came, the darker side of her came out as well - she was adept with poisons, and she used them twice during the outbreak. Once, on a rogue who came, sickly, asking for shelter - using their already-depleted food stores. Then on a warrior who had hurt Dawnfrost badly when she was a kit. She used the cover of the disease to end his life. The former Pinestar knew about - the latter he did not, though he perhaps guessed. - She escaped the sickness unscathed, but was only able to save some of her clan. It has only made her more vicious and irritable. Relationships
