☼ short russet fur ☼ lean and strong; swift and powerful, hence the name "strike" ☼ greenish blue eyes ☼ thin, whip-like tail ☼ spot of white on his chest ☼ graceful runner and fighter Personality
THREE WORD SUMMARY: Nice, But Murder ON THE SURFACE ☼ light-hearted: Sunstrike is someone who loves to laugh. He is very rarely serious or solemn, and even when the situation is dire or dark, often refuses to dampen his cheerful countenance. Most of the time this comes across as charming and uplifting, but sometimes it grates on the nerves. It can very easily come across as disrespectful. ☼ free-spirited: Having a strong will and sense of independence, it is not easy for Sunstrike to be caught in someone else's will. Like the wind, Sunstrike's whims are difficult to catch, predict, or cage. He often toes the line when it comes to following orders, much to the frustration of his deputy and leader. ☼ whimsical: Impulsive and fun-loving, Sunstrike often follows whatever whim happens to strike his fancy at any moment -- whether that be initiating a mock spar, chatting up an enemy warrior, or trying to induce a game of tag at an inopportune moment. Apprentices often love training with him, but because of his rather capricious nature, people do not always find him the most dependable. ☼ loyal: When it comes down to the wire, Sunstrike is utterly loyal to those who have found a place in his heart. For those he is truly loyal to, he would cross any ocean and burn any bridge; there is nothing he would not do. This is not necessarily a good thing. As of now, only Cricketleap holds his absolute loyalty; his allegiance to Windclan comes more out of habit and convenience than true routine. BENEATH IT ALL ☼ avoidant: Sunstrike dislikes thinking about his problems or confronting his more violent or questionable impulses. He'd rather run away and distract himself with play than think about something that makes him uncomfortable. He often tries to get out of uncomfortable situations by joking or ruining the mood. ☼ extreme: In truth, Sunstrike has very little sense of moderation or restraint in anything he does. His loyalty is absolute. His murderous intent is also absolute. Sunstrike very rarely fights seriously, but when he does, he has a violent and bloodthirsty impulse, often forgetting himself and going far beyond what is necessary in a fight. Either he fights to kill, or he doesn't fight at all. Sunstrike doesn't like to forget himself, and so avoids fighting seriously whenever he can, preferring to joke around and try to diffuse the situation. During altercations, this often comes across as him not taking his opponent seriously. ☼ manic: When left alone to his own thoughts, Sunstrike's lines of thinking go very extreme, and will follow increasingly escalatory impulses that normally wouldn't even occur to anyone else. Thus far, Cricketleap has been his voice of reason, though she hasn't stopped him from all his ill-advised stunts. ☼ manipulative: While not ill-intentioned, Sunstrike doesn't like thinking about things, or having things go badly, and is worryingly good at deflecting, lying, or manipulating others into a more desirable result. TL;DR: local sunny friend turns out to be worryingly okay with murder History
☼ born to Ashlight and Raintail in a litter of three: himself, Cricketleap, and Mudpaw. Has Tribal lineage through Raintail. ☼ fought as an apprentice in a skirmish between Windclan and RiverClan; the lake was starting to dry up, and Riverclan, seeking territory, tried to invade Windclan's moors. Was unable to prevent Heronstar from wounding and scarring his sister, for which he still blames himself. ☼ became a warrior with Cricketleap; they sat vigil together. ☼ one day discovered Pinestar scouting the tunnels that linked ShadowClan to WindClan territory. He raced back to camp to get help; when he returned with a contingent of WindClan warriors, they ran across a group of ShadowClan warriors in the tunnels. Together the two groups discovered Pinestar's dead body. To this day, it is unclear who murdered Pinestar. Relationships
☼ Mudpaw: deceased brother, died of illness before he could become a warrior. ☼ Cricketleap: his sister, fellow warrior, and only surviving family member. | ||||||
